Install in 4 steps
- Turn off the water and unscrew your old shower head.
- Wipe the shower arm thread clean.
- Wrap the thread 3β4 times clockwise with the included plumber's tape.
- Screw the firefighter on by hand until snug, then turn the water on and check for drips.
Got it for my husband's station-themed bathroom and he grinned for a full minute. Spray is honestly better than our old head.

How to install
- Turn off the water and unscrew your old shower head (turn counter-clockwise).
- Wipe the shower arm thread clean.
- Wrap the thread 3β4 times clockwise with the included plumber's tape.
- Screw the firefighter on by hand until snug. Do not over-tighten.
- Turn the water on and check for drips. A little more tape fixes most drips.
Your shower needs an existing 1/2" shower arm. This is a shower head, so it does need that water connection.

It fits a standard 1/2" (G1/2) shower arm, the standard shower arm thread in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia. If your current head screws onto a pipe coming out of the wall, you're almost certainly good.
Do I need tools or a plumber?
No. Unscrew the old head, wrap the thread with the included plumber's tape, and screw the firefighter on by hand. Most people finish in under 10 minutes.
Does it need plumbing?
Yes. It's a working shower head, so it connects to your existing shower arm and uses your normal water supply.
What kind of spray does it have?
One wide, rain-style spray from the nozzle. There are no spray-mode settings.
